Halfway Through the Windmill

Halfway through the windmill

I stopped and raised my head above the clouds;

In the distance, behind the sun,

A blazing snow capped peak

Punctures the foggy floor

And I behold my destination.

The snow glitters and beckons me come –

I go, but I walk on air.
